​​​​​​​​​​​​​R.I.P.S.: Edi and I are just two regular guys with SOO BORING JOBS!, but ambicious in regards to succeed in goals, hoping one day devote ourselves in fully to what inflamed every day our neurons. THIS, your server, is an attempt to not to pay mourning of his work.

In late 2011 I embarked on an internet search to find a willing artist who want to work with me in serious and a "free way". ​Someone to exploit, right? JUST KIDDING! He has shown me that reciprocity is real.​

 

It took 10 months to finish (nearly totally) the first chapter --HARD TO BELIEVE?-- Both of us didn´t have enough liberty time, so If you expect to receive the next chapters, WAIT ONE BY YEAR!​​​​​​​​​​ na, na, just kidding... or I WANT TO BELIEVE THAT!

Since mid-December 2012, just after having made us owners of all the copyright, we sent our work to several editorials in North America (Image, Dark Horse, Arcana, Avatar, Boom, etc.). Our intended was the publication but there was not lucky. Well, let's see if it does happen here.

I dare to admit that before starting this I wasn´t a big fan of comics. I already have become a die-hard towards this culture, but what really prompted me, was to note -since childhood- that beautiful bond closest to cinema, and, ACTUALLY this second is the one that always have been blowing my mind : EACH VIGNETTE IS LIKE A FILM-MAKING IN WICH EDI AND I HAVE PUT IT A PERMANENT PAUSE. This 10 months laboring -discarding a hump and an overall plateau in the ass for been sitting all the time and not doing exercise- WERE REALLY PHENOMENAL!!! Our teamwork has been tremendously great and in the end it totally worthed everything.​

 

Although I don´t know if IT can stand as a great story, RIP'S DAMNED TRAVEL has been one of the most fun and decorous things I've done in my life. A great achievement that without the support of my buddy Edi would not have been possible. Algredo is a great artist, we evolved together during the journey and I know perfectly well that he has cross with elegance and conviction that threshold in order to become -in a very near future- a stoic power... also I want to think the same about me.
